HAWAIIAN SLACK KEY
Hawaiian slack key guitar captures the true sounds of Hawai‘i. This traditional style is an art that has been passed down from generation to generation. It is a superb solo instrument for weddings and celebrations of all sizes.
This special instrument is a Polynesian adaptation of the mandolin brought to Polynesia by the Spaniards. It uses fishing line for strings and is very fast and upbeat. Enjoy the pulsing rhythm of this one of a kind sound.
The ukulele is the central spirit of the Hawaiian culture. It is the perfect solo instrument for weddings on the beach.
Great for an after-party, or to liven up any event. We come as a 4 piece band featuring a drum set, guitar, bass and ukulele. Three-part harmony vocals are also available. We play top hit Reggae favorites as well as originals.

Hawaiian slack key guitar is one of the world’s most treasured guitar traditions. Called “Ki Ho‘alu” in Hawaiian, it has been cherished by locals and visitors alike since the nineteenth century. It’s a fun, finger-picking style characterized by a strong, steady bass.
We offer ukulele lessons for children and beginners as well as intermediate and advanced players.
